Waianiwa School is a rural primary school, located about 15 minutes north west of Invercargill. The school is supported by farming families, those on lifestyle blocks and the village homes of Waianiwa, Wrights Bush, Otahuti, Waimatuku, Taramoa and Spar Bush. The partnership between the school and the community is strong. The upgrading of the resource area, teaching space, corridor, paving and interior painting has much improved the facilities. The school provides a stimulating learning environment. Having had strong community support the playground has been up graded. About Us
