My design was inspired by the hawks that swoop and dive around my house. In my garment, I used old tattered shopping bags to give effects of feathers. The old scarf gave the effect of colourful feathers. My creation is made from an old cotton sheet with bags and scarf attached. My headdress is a feathery scarf wrapped around my head.

My Dad’s work inspired my to use the black water tank to create a suit for a King. I used water tank wrap to make armour and pompoms for sparkly jewels. The mirrors are the reflectors on an arm guard.

My inspiration for my dress was the shiny sun, our schools great singing and the rainbow that represents Waianiwa. CDs were used to represent songs, the sun and to reflect light like a rainbow. I needed a dark background in order to create the best light from the CDs; therefore i used a black dress as an undergarment. Jayson
I am modelling my spider hat. It is made of Dad’s old pants. I tried to make it of eight legs from Dad’s two legs. I made some holes in my Dad’s old pants with string to keep them on my head. I made a belt to go with my spider hat.
