We have four modern, newly refurbished classrooms in our main building, each equipped with updated furniture to create a comfortable and inspiring space. We also have three smaller breakout rooms, perfect for students and teachers to use for small group work or extra support.
Our additional 'old' school block houses our library and community room, a great spot for getting lost in a good book.
Outside, our grounds are packed with things to do. We're proud of our well established gardens, where our senior enviro leaders help manage our vegetable, sensory, and other school gardens. We have a large adventure playground with a tower, slides, and a covered sandpit, plus courts with hoops for netball and basketball and in summer, tennis nets. Our large playing field is equipped with goals and posts and is perfect for sports like soccer and rugby.
One of our favourite features is our heated and covered swimming pool, with the pool being used by classes in Terms 1 and 4. It’s also available for our community to use outside of school hours with the purchase of a key. Each year we have trained swimming instructors come in to teach the students water confidence and safety.
Beyond the school day, we offer lots of opportunities for students to get active. During the summer, we have after-school tennis lessons on our school courts with local instructors and a variety of after school sports like touch, miniball, squash and football are offered in nearby Invercargill. We are proud to provide a space that supports both academic and physical growth.
